Popular shingle beach. Beautiful views of Slapton Ley, Slapton Sands and out to sea.
Public toilets are found in the car park 20m from the beach.
There are cafes and pubs along the promenade 20m from the beach.
Sailing, surfing and canoeing are all popular on this beach. Although there are no sports hire facilities here but you are welcome to bring your own equipment.
Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve is owned by the Whitley Wildlife Trust and the Field Studies Council have a centre based there.
The beach is 20m across the car park and main road. Disabled users have access to the beach. (Please bear in mind there is no boardwalk once on the sand though).
100 car and five coach spaces are available, parking charges apply.
