Ensure you use all the features of your listing level

All our listings include name, email address, a map, text and at least 5 images. Within the text section of the site you can add bold text so that headings can be highlighted and paragraphs broken up.

Each of our advertising packages, which can be viewed here, has a different range of features depending on the listing level. It is advantageous to ensure you make the most of all the features available to you.

With your membership you can list facilities and pricing, have an increased number of images, can add awards, special offers and social media feed. The Deluxe membership also includes YouTube video integration and banner adverts.  

Images

Images are key to selling your business to visitors and holiday makers. The number of images your listing can have depends on your advertising package, these are detailed below. Please note that images display in landscape (1200 x 800 px) format on the website.

We always recommend the best images to include are light and bright pictures taken on a sunny day, in landscape format to ensure as much detail as possible is displayed. For accommodation listings it is also helpful to include an image of the outside of your property.

The number of images for each listing level is;

Enhanced; 5
Deluxe; 15

Events

Members with Discover Dartmouth are permitted to host events on the site. Events can be added for any time in the future and can easily be uploaded added via the online form found here.  

Events must be within Dartmouth or South Devon

Book Now Button

A Book Now button is available and it links directly to your room booking, availability calendar or online ticket purchase page. We can track the number of referrals to your site via this button.

We have the following banners available to all our advertisers

We also have Gallery Image adverts available across the site, these banners link to your listing page within the Discover Dartmouth site.

In each e-newsletter we have space for 3 banner adverts, which link directly to your own website.

Special offers

Throughout the year there is a range of special offer sections hosted on the site which allows you to host seasonal offers. Offers can be added to your listing and the offer section via your members log in. 

Blogs

Everyone is welcome to send guest blog posts which we will be hosted on the site and shared across social media and within e-newsletters. Guest blog posts can be used to promote your business, events or Dartmouth. This feature may have a cost, please check your membership level.

We support all our Dartmouth local Festivals and invite them to send us a Blog to feature to support them with their events.

Competitions

We are happy to work with you to run competitions, within each e-newsletter we run a competition which is also promoted on the website and within social media. We can also run competitions through social media.
