Castle Cove is a shingle and rock beach which is completely covered at high tide. Beautiful views of Dartmouth Castle and out to sea can be enjoyed.

Picturesque ferry trips from Dartmouth Castle to Dartmouth Quay and town centre make a wonderful activity.
Access is via the A379 from Dartmouth. The last stretch of road has some narrow sections which coaches wouldn’t manage.
Access the beach via 100 wooden and concrete steps from Dartmouth Castle car park (50m from beach). There is no disabled access down to the beach.
