It is a very enjoyable cruise up river to Totnes, taking around 2 hours and passing through the stunning and tranquil upper reaches of the Dart.  In Totnes you will find visitor moorings on the wooden quayside on the eastern bank of the river by the blue commercial buildings.  This quay dries at low tide, but is suitable for vessels up to around 15m to take the ground alongside.  Mooring is free for up to 2 hours, overnight moorings are charged.  Call the harbour office on 01803 832337 for further info, or to pay mooring fees. There is also a slipway where smaller boats can launch or haul out.
