The Old Market – Easter Fair

Head along to The Old Market in Dartmouth for a fun Easter Fair in aid of Children’s Hospice South West on Saturday 1st April from 10am to 3pm! There will be a prize for the best Easter hat and stalls will be selling lovely crafts, books, jewellery, cakes, gifts and much more. All proceeds from this event will help CHSW to provide essential specialist care and support for over 550 families with life-limited children in the South West.

Babbacombe Model Village Easter Egg Trail

Hop on over to Babbacombe Model Village this April and try to and find all the colourful eggs hidden in and around their glorious gardens!

Included in the price of your admission, you can all eggsplore the miniature scenes and gardens and see if you can find all the hidden treats.  Make sure you don’t go hopping through the park too fast though, as it may be egg-stremely hard to find all 20 of the eggs! Children eggsplorers will get a special chocolatey treat and you can also pick up a free fun activity leaflet for the family to take home.

The Fizz Boat

If you’re looking for a unique experience this Easter, join The Fizz Boat for a memorable boat cruise along the River Dart!

The Fizz Boat will make sure that whatever the occasion, whether celebrating or simply enjoying the company of friends, family or business colleagues, it has that certain pizzazz and class that will be talked about for years to come.

What’s more, when you book a cruise with The Fizz Boat in April, you’ll receive Bottomless Bubbles on board in celebration of their 4th birthday!

The Flavel

For the very best family-fun entertainment in the South Hams, take your seats at The Flavel this Easter!

If you want to keep the little ones busy for a couple of hours, The Flavel cinema are showing new release, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish from the 1st – 22nd April. Featuring the much-loved character from the Shrek universe, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is a fun, family-friendly romp with plenty of heart and a charming story that will keep the kids on the edge of their seats!

If you’re after something a little more artsy, The Flavel is also showing Royal Opera House Live: Cinderella over the Easter break on Wednesday 12th April. With fairy godmothers, pumpkin carriages and handsome princes aplenty, this ethereal production from the The Royal Ballet is sure to captivate audiences young and old.

Coleton Fishacre Easter Egg Hunt

Still looking for a good old-fashioned Easter egg hunt? Pop along to Coleton Fishacre House and Gardens this spring and discover the unique world of bees on their charming Easter trail.

Children will learn how to ‘bee strong, bee happy and bee kind’ along the way, with intrepid egg-splorers also receiving a pair of bunny ears and a Rainforest Alliance Certified chocolate egg. The trail will lead you past cherry trees in blossom and along woodland paths with wide sea views, the perfect backdrop for a spring adventure!
