Event Details

Follow in the footsteps of bestselling crime writer Agatha Christie at her holiday home Greenway.

Heritage Open Days is England’s largest festival of history and culture, bringing together over 2,500 organisations, 5,000 events and 40,000 volunteers.

Every year in September, places across the country throw open their doors to celebrate their heritage, community and history. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all FREE.

Between 12-13 September, explore Greenway, ‘the loveliest place in the world’, from the locations and objects that inspired her books to reminders of the Second World War and the work the National Trust are doing to care for this special place.

If visiting Greenway by car, you’ll need to book a parking space in advance through the website. Parking charges apply.
