What is TXGB?
TXGB is a digital marketplace, developed in partnership with VisitEngland. It offers tourism businesses the opportunity to diversify their distribution, and gives distributors the ability to choose from a wide range of bookable tourism product, to add to their programmes.
What is meant by diversifying my distribution?
It means that you, as a tourism business, can choose from a selection of distribution channels, domestically and internationally, all in one place. These range from niche operators, to OTAs, and – most importantly here – destination websites like ours: www…..s like us! It also allow you to make your own website bookable, if it isn’t already.
How is this helping local tourism recovery?
As businesses reopen post-Covid, we are investing in bringing visitors back to Dartmouth. We want to make it as easy as possible to “know before you go”, by providing the latest visitor information on our website. We will be driving visitors to our website through our own activity, and that of VisitEngland. And we want it to be as easy as possible for visitors to look and then book. TX Load
If your business has no booking technology or uses technology that TXGB are not currently linked to, TXLoad is a basic inventory loading platform that will enable your businesses to still benefit and take part in opportunities by uploading their inventory.
This is ideal for those businesses who have no online booking systems as it can very quickly give them an online presence not only on your site but for their own website or social media profiles by using a url behind a book button.
There is no sign up or monthly fees and no contract to commit to. The only charge is when you take a booking – 2.5% TXGB distribution fee, -2.5% Discover Dartmouth’s commission* plus the 1.4% Stripe merchant gateway fee.
