Oxton Cottage is a charming property quietly set within the gardens of Oxton house, accommodating up to 4 guests. The main bedroom has a king-size bed with en-suite bathroom and there is a double bed-settee in the lounge area. The kitchen is fully equipped with double oven, microwave and fridge/freezer. A washing machine is provided. French Doors lead to a private south-facing garden with decking and ‘al fresco’ eating area. Comfortably equipped for all your needs. FREE Private Parking and Wi-Fi. There are no steps leading to the cottage….

The Local Area

Local supermarkets include Sainsburys, Lidls and Spar – all within walking distance along with a BP garage and Subway takeaway. Fusion gym and heated indoor pool are close by – also within a short walk of the cottage. An open air heated Lido is just 5 mins walk – summer only). Tennis courts available in Coronation Park. Regular bus services provide good access to Totnes, the train station, Salcombe, Slapton and Plymouth.

About Town

Dartmouth is a ‘foodies’ haven and there are many top quality restaurants in the town offering a wide range of locally caught fresh fish and local produce. The Flavel theatre provides cultural film, music and drama. There is a wide range of festival events throughout the year – including the Dartmouth Music Festival in May, the Dartmouth Food Festival in October and the renowned Dartmouth Royal Regatta in August.

For a romantic weekend away, family holiday or visit with friends – Dartmouth is a captivating ‘all year round’ destination on the banks of the beautiful River Dart. Explore winding Elizabethan streets with independent shops, art galleries and market.
